Thoughts of holiday baking were the inspiration for this week's Kinsman. Malt powder is the secret ingredient in many of my favorite baked goods so why not turn the tables and put one of my favorite nuts for baking into a malty beer. Introducing Pecan Dunkel, or maybe we should call it nut brown lager ;-) Either way, we think you'll love the combination and if you've never tried it, put a couple tablespoons of malt powder in your next batch of chocolate chip cookies, you won't regret it.
