Our special Berwyn style Pilsner brewed for our Veltway friends at Fitzgerald's/Babygold. Rich pilsner malt base paired beautifully with Michigan grown Saaz hops for a pint that satisfies yet keeps you coming back for me.

16oz can, best by 10.24.2022 stamped on the bottom, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.
The beer pours a very bright golden color, straw hues, pretty darn clear with just a slight cloudiness, nice fizzy white head, about a finger or so with moderate retention, nice lacing, and a decent amount of bubbles rising to the top of the glass. The aroma is pleasant, earthy noble hop, green, grassy, piney with a touch of citrus, strong mineral water, crisp pilsner malt and a bit of straw. The flavors are good, very crisp malt, biscuit grain, cracker, and pale dough with excellent mineral water, noble hop that is earthy and grassy. The mouthfeel is good, crisp, coating, lighter medium body with a nice carbonated texture and a dry finish.
Verdict: A nice Pilsner from Kinslahger that nicely compliments some BBQ. Even without the food, it's a great summer lager that's very sessionable.

Draft at Babygold Barbeque (Berwyn, IL)
Cloudy yellow with a tight white head. Malt, grass, and floral nose. Tastes of bread, lemon, but the big game changer is the Super Saaz on the backend. It has the Saaz spice, but it is also bright and slightly floral. It has a larger than expected mouthfeel for a Czech Pils, but finishes crisp.
