16oz can, dated 08.13.2023, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 03.03.2024, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a bright golden color, straw hues, fairly clear with small bubbles rising to the top of the glass towards a a foamy white head, moderate retention and lacing. The aroma is fine, pale dough, soft biscuit grain, grassy, lightly floral, mineral water. The flavors are good, pale grain, strong dough, slightly herbal hop, tea, grass, wildflower, lemon, clove and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, lively medium body, crisp smooth finish.
Verdict: A decent Helles. Refreshing and sessionable, a bit rough around the edges but a solid nod to a great record shop.

Pale gold, slight haze, lasting coverage, spotty lace.
Fruity apple and white grape notes in the aroma and taste, it’s an expressive yeast strain. Crackery pale malt, light bodied and crisp, finishes dry. A nice Helles, and a great local record store in Oak Park.
