On tap at Funcks in Palmyra, PA, part of a 4.5oz flight.
Black body, with good oatmeal colored head. Lacing was very nice. Coffee on the nose and taste, perhaps a hint of chocolate. Quite sweet, with only a touch of the roast malt, which I appreciated. Mouth was a bit thin.
A nice tasty coffee stout. Not sure what makes it a Corsican, look forward to finally trying the original Love Stout to compare.

ractically black with a head mounting steed. Khaki foam forms a dense cap with great stamina. I like that it was served to me in a Gulden Draak tulip.
My first thought is that this smells like Smuckers blackberry jam. Has a stewed berries aroma with notes of roasty coffee and molasses. I'm picking up concord grape, mocha, and salted peanut.
Mega coffee and dark fruit. Think Indonesian coffee, prunes, hefty roast, robust barley, black strap, sizzled bitterness, and a short chalky finish. A little bit of unsweetened cocoa in there, too. This is awesome. Notes from the aroma have evolved into the flavor with twitches of iced coffee, stewed fruit, and baked earth. Hops give it good bitterness and a hint of stone fruit character. Elegant, complex, and burly. The mouthfeel could be fuller; it's rather light-leaning, as it stands right now. Still, absolutely delicious.
