Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is full of grapefruit. Taste is tart, grapefruit, juicy. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an interesting and solid beer.

Poured into small plastic cup: color is gold, slight haze, head is brighter white and presents one finger thick, head lingers well like base Philly PA.
Smell is grapefruit forward, actual juice, limited malt and hop aroma.
Taste is grapefruit forward, real juice, again limited malt and hop to decipher through the grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate/low bitterness with lingering grapefruit juice.
Overall a heavy grapefruit flavored ale - not artificial and not pure juice but still hides most of the base beer flavor.

On cask at Watkins Drinkery.
Full off white head. Regular Yards golden PPA.
Scent is straight grapefruit.
Taste is also dominated by the grapefruit flavor. Not bad, but the floral taste of the Philadelphia Pale Ale is pretty well lost.
Mouthfeel is about regular for a cask beer at Watkins. Lightly carbonated, slightly heavier than normal, room temperature. Best element.
Worth trying if you like grapefruit, sort of worth trying if you like Philadelphia Pale Ale. Not a home run, more like a close double from Chase Utley.
