I had this out of a firkin. This is a very good tasting and smelling beer. The carbonation was very low and no head at all as it was at the bottom of the firkin and I believe this beer would have rated much higher had this.

Double dry hopped Rye IPA collaboration with State Line Liquors. On tap at State Line / Yards social.
Pours a crystal clear amber with a nice head, but little retention.
Smells great. This is well dry hopped. Definitely Columbus (but not oniony) and Amarillo. There's Nelson and Eureka in there as well, but I have no idea what Eureka smells like so can't pick it out and am not getting Nelson in the least. It's piney and floral (more like violets or honeysuckle, not at all like citrus). Unique I'd say, and I like it!
Tastes pretty damn good. Rye spice all the way with present but not a sweet malt backbone. Astrigent but not chalky--strong presence of bittering hops. The rye coats the tounge up front and the bittering hops take over shortly after, but there is not much in the way of dry hop resin finishing the job: it's a fairly clean beer. Would prefer it skew more New England style IPA with cloudy, tounge coating dry hop resins, but that's just me.
Would bang time and time again. Best beer I've had from Yards, for what that's worth.
