Notes: "with ginger & molasses". Cloudy dark copper body beneath a frothy white head that holds well before dropping. Nice lacing is left behind. Malty aroma with some clove. The flavor is mainly of wheaty, caramel-accented malt. There's some apple-like fruitiness, and the molasses is noticeable as a dark sugary edge throughout the flavor and into the finish. The ginger is not completely distinct but adds spiciness. Malty, medium-full body. Crisp standard carbonation. The ginger helps to dry the finish and along with a moderate bitterness it finishes dry and spicy.
