Formal unveiling at City Tap House earlier tonight of the collaborative homebrew from Yards and the winner of the Karma Factor homebrew contest.
Pours a copperish-yellow slightly hazy beer from on tap. Served to me with very little head due to bartender's discretion, but I could imagine it could be better had this been bottled and poured yourself. Good carbonation present.
Smells of classic Belgian yeast strain with a hoppy little bite to it. Has some sort of orange peel or coriander scent to it.
Tastes of clove, slight banana flavor. Reminds me a lot of Flying Dog's Raging Bitch. Has some aftertaste which reminds me of a slight toasted marmalade.
Has a medium full mouthfeel. Slightly creamy, yet refreshing.
Nice thirst quencher for the pre-summer scorching temps. This beer is much, much better as it warms up.
