Ginger ale golden shared with a healthy bubble and frothy white head. Nose of mild malt. Initial taste is halting in time to select identifiers, and allows the visual of sticky lacing hang on the glass. Mouthfeel a bit heavy, the hop resins lingering on the tongue. The trade off to experience a superb warming from the generous 8.2%, which ultimately pulls this brew past the finish line. Would go so well with a tomato pie. Dry finish.

Excited to pickup the Yards Pale Ale mixed pack ....
Poured into narrow pint glass: color is gold, clear/transparent, head is off white and rocky at one finger thick, head dissipates to solid top, some lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is clean and light - pale malt but not sweet, zippy Philly Pale Ale style hops with a crisp earthy, light pine note, citrus backing.
Taste is more citrusy with a grapefruit lean, some lemon zest, then earth and pine, pale malt light and backing.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, low/moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness.
Overall a very easy drinking double pale ale - not overly bitter and not overly sweet, maybe a more citrus forward flavor than base Philly Pale.
