A 2011 "recreation" of one of Yards' first brews, Entire Porter was served to me in a stem glass, dark brown in color with a nice cap of tan-brown head that retained well and left just a little bit of soapy lacing. Smelled of smooth coffee and a bit of indistinct fruitiness, perhaps a bit of citrusy hops. Taste started out with a good balance of semisweet chocolate and bitter (but smooth) coffee, and perhaps just a hint of black cherry in the background; more bitterness towards the end, for a dry finish, woody, with a subdued hoppiness. Medium mouthfeel, just a tad lighter than it felt it should have been, but solid and overall very nice, flavorful and very sessionable.
