Notes:
Amber beer of 5.5%, “Queue de Charrue” is second-fermented in the bottle. Its beautiful orange colour and its fine but dense froth gives it a light body. Its fruity finish will delight you with its refreshing character.

Copper with little carbonation, a slight haze and 3 fingers of beige head.
Toasted notes, some light fruitiness like peach. Fine and pleasant, not really overwhelming in any direction.
Same as nose with a hint of sweetness like sap.
Medium body, slightly sticky. Moderate to low carbonation.
Found in Vientiane, drank in Chiang Mai Oct. 23rd, 2015. Pleasant all round.

This amber ale from Belgium is overall average to under average. Out of balance it's quite sweet. Estery it's mostly malt and yeast driven. Nothing exciting over here

330 ml. bottle. Amber copper colour, with a big head that holds decently. Smell is very faint, with apricots, caramel, pine and spices. Too light body imo, but drinkable. Taste of apricots, apples, caramel some spices, but too faint too. A bit of a deception, since I've really enjoyed osme others Queue de Charrue.

Brown 25cl bottle brewed by 'Du Bocq' for Vanuxeem-Ploegsteert. Plenty of life left, best before 22 Nov 2009, drank late April 2009.
Poured into a Duvel Glass.
Clear amber body, darkish off-white head, good retension and lots of bubbles rising through the beer, looked impressive.
Aroma of yeasts, malts and apples.
Bland and lifeless, a slight malty flavour, very disappointed compared to the smell and look, but I shouldn't have been surprised, Du Bocq produce some fairly crap beers in my opinion. This is just another one of their pretend beers.
One of the worst Belgian ambers I've ever had!

Sorry but this following comment is in french :
Appearance : Rouge ambrée, cristalline, bien saturée en bulles fines, mousse brune aérée mais tenace.
Smell : Nez distingué, arôme vineux
Taste and mouthfeel : Saveur d'abord assez douce et bien maltée, puis aigre-douce ; bouche structurée. Légère astringence, arrière goût doux de durée moyenne.
Drinkability : Bonne bière aigre-douce.

Nice copper color, non persistent head. The beer was interesting, very different than other brews of its style. Very refreshing, more than other Ambree. Some sweetness. Also a salty aspect, similar to salted water, that slightly bites you tongue in an enjoyable way. Powerful aromas of lemon in the smell and in the taste. The aftertaste is really citric. An interesting and unusual brew.
