From the 32 oz. howler acquired at the brewery on April 22, 2016. Sampled on April 23, 2016.
Chocolate brown pour under a modest tan head that lingers.
The aroma has a good milk, cream, and chocolate ester embellished by the cacao nibs used to brew this.
About a medium body.
The taste is again sweet and chocolate like with a resiny sort of dry bitterness at the finish. An enjoyable beer.
