Punch of fruit upon first taste. It lingers heavy in the background through the session.
Poured well in a pint glass. Little head. Beautiful golden hazy look.
WILL enjoy again! My hometown favorite for sure.

Poured into a tall holiday pilsner glass not sure when it was bottled, but fromantic the aggressive hops rattling my tongue, I feel confident it is fresh. Pours a hazy dark yellow with a massive fluffy white head that that leaves little rings of lace behind.
Smell is guava, apricot, papaya, pine, lemon, and a healthy does of grapefruit.
Taste follows, but better. Tropical guava, apricot, papaya, passion fruit, upfront before it slaps you in the mouth with aggressive lemon, pine, and especially grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, almost sticky, plenty of prickly carbonation, on the dry side, and excellent drinkability at 8.2% ABV.
Overall this is really nice, a perfect cross between New England Style tropical and west coast style bitter. Well done.

Bottle from Bert's
Slightly hazy light golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head that slowly dissipates. Resin and pine dive for my nose as soon as I pop the cap. Tropical fruity citrus and light bready maltiness fill in the rest. Resin citrus and pine flavor with again some faint sweat bread. Mild bitterness with just a hint of astringency. Quite a flavorful solid DIPA, nice.
