From a growler obtained at the brewery on October 14, 2016, the day of its release. Sampled on October 15, 2016.
It pours a dark amber color with a modest tan head that fades some.
Big aroma of banana, pear, roasted malt sweetness, raisins, and slight spice. Low to no hop profile.
Medium body.
Like the aroma the taste brings out an abundance of banana, pear, and other fruit characters that mingle nicely with the roasted malts, light spice, a mildly dry finish. Just a nice beer all around. Only in New Hampshire so you may not get a chance to try it. Unlucky for you.
