Can from the Packie
Dark brown bordering on black with a thin tan head that dissipates. Huge coffee nose follows into the flavor. Hints of pepper and light grainy astringency. Could use a hint more body imho to help stand up to the coffee onslaught.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a deep, dark cola brown color with a finger of fluffy tan head. The head is gone in a hurry, leaving a few splotches of lacing before settling into a thin sheet.
The aroma brings notes of baker's chocolate, chocolate chip cookies, and dark roast coffee. There's a faint hint of vanilla and graham crackers on the back end.
The flavor is all about the coffee up front. Then comes some dark chocolate and roasted malts.
The feel is thin with moderate carbonation. A tad watery but the carbonation perks things up a bit. Dry on the finish.
Overall, a great coffee stout that comes exactly as advertised. The low ABV keeps this one highly drinkable without sacrificing flavor.

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned 12/14/18. Pours a very attractive near pitch black with a 2 plus finger mocha head, that leaves plenty of thin wisps of lace as it slowly settles yielding excellent retention. 4.5
Smell is dry roasty coffee grounds, vanilla bean, some biscuit , and some dark chocolate. 4.25
Taste follows roasty coffee is the star of this beer, with vanilla, biscuit, and dark chocolate lending a hand. Really tasty. 4.25
Mouthfeel is just above medium, plenty of life, maybe a tad dry like most coffee Stouts, and at 5.1% goes down easy but more like 6.5 in flavor. 4.5
Overall this is a excellent sessionable coffee stout. You could drink a few on a cold evening and not get to buzzed, but it would still keep you warm. 4.25

Sampled on tap at the brewery on January 7, 2017.
Dark brown to near black pour with modest tan head.
Big cold-brewed coffee aroma with a dark bread note. Low earthy hop profile.
The body is light to medium.
The taste has a bold coffee or coffee grounds flavor with a mildly dry finale. Decent coffee stout.
