Poured into a 13 oz teku glass canned on 3/22/18. Pours like a glass of pineapple o.j with a nice massive 2 plus finger sticky white head that leaves big thick webby patches of lace as it settles into a thick ring of lace.
Smell is pear, mango, guava, piney, and some sharp grapefruit.
Taste follows very tropical upfront with loads of mango, guava, and pear upfront and switches gears and get a tad bitter with a piney grapefruit finish.
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, plenty of life with soft mouthfeel, not dry but a tad sticky from all the fresh hops, and very approachable with more flavor than most at this ABV.
Overall this is excellent, I am so happy I was lucky enough to score a can from Doc himself. You guys are getting better and better all the time.
