Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass.
Pours a hazy yellow color with 2 fingers of effervescent white head. The head is gone in a hurry, leaving a few spots of lacing before settling into a thin sheet of foam.
The aroma brings tons of fresh peaches, wheat bread, and spicy yeast.
The flavor follows the nose, bringing notes of candied peaches, cracked pepper, and wheat bread. There are some notes of banana and clove on the finish.
The feel is medium-light bodied with good carbonation. Very crisp and dry.
Overall, a pretty good Hefe that comes exactly as advertised. Not sure why there is lactose in this beer, as it doesn't seem to add much of anything. Still, highly drinkable and refreshing.
