Never loved anything from this brewery yet, and this is no exception. Okay, but not NEIPA in my opinion. Unbalanced and slightly cloying. I'll try some more from them as they have a decent reputation.

From a 2021 batch simply marked 21E26. Sampled July 10, 2021.
The appearance is a pulpy yellow although not as opaque as others in this style. A modest lingering white head.
An array of fruit like aromas including grapefruit, pineapple, melon and then I pick up a hint of pepper spice.
Smooth medium or better mouthfeel.
The taste is at first sweet and then those aforementioned fruity characters ease into the flavor. But again I get a slight peppery bite to finish it off. Interesting beer.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 11/26/19. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with a half finger white head, that leaves thin what of lace sip after sip, solid retention. 4.25
Smell is mango, pine, mandarin, apricot, and some grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows but bigger and bolder mango, mandarin, pine, upfront with apricot and grapefruit in the slightly lingering finish. 4
Mouthfeel is pretty big, rather gentle carbonation, sticky not dry, and at 8% ABV it is easy going down but loaded with bold hoppy flavor. 4
Overall I really am liking this one, for me more of an East meets West DIPA, that has tropical flavors along with some bitter grapefruit and pine as is old school West Coast DIPA. 4
