From a 2022 limited batch 500 ml. bottle. Sampled Oct 10, 2022.
Attractive looking dark amber brown color under a tannish head that laces as it fades.
Inviting aroma of caramel and butterscotch roasted malts, tobacco, and dark fruit such as plum or raisins.
A full mouthfeel. Chewy and creamy.
The flavor is more about the caramel malts and I do pick up more of the booze here. Not so much in the aroma. Same plum or prune fruity character underneath. Warming.

From a 16oz can, part of a 4-pack gifted to me from my Bro Artied2.
Pours a dark, somewhat murky copper. Has a creamy, thin beige head; mainly a light layer with rim-job foam. Lacing is pretty solid, though. Has a pithy nose with some toffee and suggestions of bourbon. Body was medium, with light prickle attacking the tongue.
Flavor has some semisweet malts, bits of dark fruit (dates, figs) with more resinous, rindy, bitter hopping. Finish has an ever so subtle touch of bourbon. Decent. Prosit!!

Can from The Packie
Copper in color with good clarity and a decent sized off whitehead that lingers. Rich caramel toffee treacle bready maltiness with bits of earthy hops and lots of dried and pitted fruit flavor. Really great sipper!
