Can from the Packie.
Inky black with a short tan head that shows moderate retention. Chocolate vanilla and coffee aroma and flavor dominate, faint spice, nice sweet stout.

This one is going to be hard because I like this brewery and the owner/Brewers. Poured into a 16 oz tulip glass best before 12/31/21 assuming it was canned on 12/31/2020? Pours a very dark brown with a finger plus brown head with pretty good retention, but leaves no lace at all. 3.75
Aroma cinnamon, cocoa, nutmeg, coffee grounds, hints of vanilla, and some peppery spice. 3.5
Taste follows cinnamon hits first a little too much for me and kind of dominant, cocoa, nutmeg, vanilla, and some spice in the finish. 3.5
Mouthfeel is the biggest issue, thin, watery, lacking carbonation, not dry, and at 7.1% drinks smaller and has no business being called Imperial. 2.75
Overall this one for the average young man bun wearing Untapped Hipster might be a treasure, but for an old school BA who wants a big robust stout it is a huge disappointment. Again I love Doc and Michael, but I am so happy it was just a $4.99 single. 3.25
