August 2006: Bottle, at Delirium Café, Göteborg. Hazy golden colour, large white head. Vinous aroma with leather, barnyard and oak. The flavour is oaky and slightly sour, oily mouthfeel.

Nose: Clove notes come through with a touch of mustiness. Perceivable levels of DMS (canned corn) aroma.
Mouth: Spicy and banana flavours up front with a light malt sweetness and a good long clove finish. Decent complexity and absolutely delicious.
Overall: Spectacular Belgian Ale. Definitely deserving of higher recognition and distribution.

33cl Dumpy brown bottle, best before 2013, poured into a 'Palm Special' badged tulip in March 2012.
Slight haze to the light amber body, carbonisation trails rising to the weak white collar and wispy covering overhead.
The nose is sweet and yeasty, honey and maple syrup came to mind. Pine hop easters prevent the smell being sickly along with the yeast presence.
I'd swear there is honey in this brew: I did a Belgian honey beer tasting evening last year and this could easily have been in the group, even if it hasn't got any in it. The taste is strange really, those honey flavours are mixed with a hop dry bitterness and an unpleasant metallic feel that appears towards the end of each sip.
Can't put my finger on it, but something doesn't sit right: glad I only paid 2.00 Euro for it.

App: Served from the brewery tap. Pours a clear golden honey color. Very full and thick white head with great retention and lacing.
Aroma: Slight spice up front, almost peppery with strong honey notes. Subtle earthiness. Crisp and very little alcohol way deep down.
Taste: Full flavored, smooth and slightly sweet with nice clean dry finish. Round flavor that cascades from front to back and send with residual spice and moderate hop character. Some alcohol warmth.
Mouth: Light to medium bodied with very round smooth feeling. Nice carbonation to accentuate the flavors and carry the softness of the beer all around.
Drink: All around not a bad beer, especially from draft. After tasting several of their bottled beers I was less with impressed with the brewery overall. But this stood out and could have put a few down.

Deep orange color, lightly amber, with a beautiful white head. Pretty.
In the smell, as usual for the Bouillon brews, a lot of sweetness, frutiness, melon. But less than in others. Quite "light", afterall. Peach notes, and also floral. Quite decently balanced, in the end.
Same for the taste, not so bad. Camomile flowers, quite delicate. After then, obviously, the usual "heavy" taste, but, after all, drinkable.
Some finishing bitterness.

A clear, golden yellow beer with an initial thick head that settles in a couple of minutes.
Smell of band-aid and a slight solvent and medicinal smell. There is also a fruity smell, that reminds me of raspberries. Malt is hidden behind all this and is just slightly pilsner-like.
Taste at first is higher alcohols, solvent, green apples and gumballs. The malt is light biscuit and straw-like. A nice bitterness and light hop flavor, which is a bit grassy. Carbonation is sizzling. Body is quite thin and this beer seems to scream: too much sugar in here! The yeast provides a nice fruity and mild taste, but the thin body and higher alcohols spoil this again.

Bottled. Yellow colour, creamy and lasting head. Aroma of pepper and citrus. I seem to find some tobacco. Sparkling and with some pepper palate, with a touch of honey. Not bad, but rather plain. A wanna-be beer, nothing special but good for some moments.

pours nice 40% head in a chalice glass. slightly floral odor with mild hoppy character.
taste is mildly floral and very carbonated (this beer is very active in the glass), no great characteristics strike out, there are hints in the first taste of spices or other flavors but by the second swallow I cannot pick that up anymore. the 6.5% I cannot pick up at all.
This beer has a very pleasant aftertaste, slightly hoppy and bitter which fades nicely.
A completely unexceptional but pleasant and very drinkable belgian blonde.

No freshnes date but on cap is29JC so probably bottled 29-10-03. Good appearance with white head and foggy golden beercolor. Noseis very fruity; mostly orange citrussy, but also koreander and don't believe there are no spices in this one.Nice sournote makes overal impression of the nose good. Taste is litle empty, litle sour, very dry, citrussy and not much maltyness to detect. Clean and good mothfeel with right amount of carbondioxide makes this one easy drinkable and very refreshing but at 6.5% maybe too drinkable.
