Pours a foggy reddish brown, small khaki head hangs around for a bit. Snot locker says fruit, taste buds agree, dates, plum, raisin, some toffee and a bit of booze that is well hidden, mostly heat. Smooth, creamy. I'll look for this again!

Served from the bottle in a Samuel Adams sensory pint glass.
Pours a murky sienna topped by a short finger of pale beige foam. The nose comprises toffee, candied orange peel, light vanilla, light cedar, and a touch of whiskey. The taste brings in more of the same, along with some additional caramel and a bit of spicy rye whiskey. The body is a stolid medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. A pretty nice rye-barreled b-wine.
