On tap at Hinesburg Public house. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was an off yellow hazy sort of orangish color. A finger’s worth of white foamy head quickly dissipates leaving some light lacing. The smell had some piney hop bitterness over some nice citrus sweetness. Subtle sticky malt backbone (toffee/nuttiness). The flavor takes on the previously mentioned aromas nice and bittersweet. Sly malty aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this sat about a light to medium on the body. Good for a session. Overall, decent session IPA, perhaps again, even if it does have a slighter heavier malt bill to it.

Tall can...10-21-16 on the bottom...so over 3 mos in the can...meh, not the freshest...

Pours hazed lighter amber, light khaki cap, leaving low sheeting and decent looking fine strands of lacing.

Light and zesty resiny hop nose.

Decent IPA, more on the west coast side of the style...resiny, pine notes abound,,,solid...well worth a try...I'd like to try a fresher can next time

OK, I am a hop head..and for this i don´t like VSIPA. Very low on hops, high on carbonation, low (maybe subtle) bitterness. It´s more a dry hopped lager or so. Nothing for me

Very mild but smooth. Not a lot of hops, but great flavor.

Can shared by Puboflyons, thanks! Fairly clear deep yellow with a small bubbly white head. Resinous grassy earthy hops with a faint bready grainy malt. Nice beer.

From the 16 oz. can dated 03/25/16. Sampled on June 12, 2016.

The pour is a foggy looking golden yellow with a long lasting moderate white head. Busy carbonation.

There are a number of likable things emitting from the aroma. I get a toasted bread beginning and then there is a floral, herbal, and fruity hop character in that order.

Medium body.

Brief toasted bread and biscuit malt note and then the hops pour in with their herbal, fruity, and floral characters. This has a dry and lingering finish. I think they did a nice job with it.

Pours a nice lightly hazy marigold. 1F head that fades fast to a light cap. Leaves decent swirly lacing about half way down the glass.
Aroma is sweet bready malts, then some piney hops. I don't mind that sweet bubblegum-ish malty aroma.
Taste is much like the nose, a bit of hops first then a good amount of sweet malts, then there is a nice bitter profile. Pretty good.
The mouth feel is a touch thin. I would drink this a little more quickly, as it falls off a cliff if it gets to "warm". Can get very watery. There is some prickly-ness to is that could be better.
Overall, I enjoyed this brew. As a fan of the old trout river for its rainbow red, which was one of my favorite beers 15 years ago, It was a no brainier for me to grab one of these and the new rainbow red can.
Prost !
