Canned on 7/17/2020. It pours a clean, amber color. Mango and Orange notes dominate, Hops are pungent and is extremely juicy despite the clear pour. There can be a bit of lingering acidity when drunk from freshly canned. It's an easy drinker even at 8.1% ABV.

Obtained a can of this product in a recent trade and I'm definitely impressed with it. Very flavorful 8.1% Double IPA in the New England style. My first can of a Trout River product from the Springfield location. I'd sampled some products from the Lyndonville location in prior years but none were as appealing as this one. I'd purchase a 4 or 6 pack if it were available in my area.

Can to tulip.
The appearance was a fairly thick yet somewhat murky orange paper color. Small white foamy head slid off delicately to leave some messy lace.
The aroma had some "Fruity Pebbles" clean sweetness roaming through tropical fruits. You know when you drink a Leinenkugel's 'Sunset Wheat' and you think you're drinking "Fruity Pebbles" in a glass, the difference between that and this is that this has a smoother more nurtured yet mature smell to it.
The flavor, yes, it leans towards the sweet side but it's clean and balanced by a crisp malt bill that accepts a fine tuned aftertaste of tropical candied fruits.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it due to some exasperating carbonation. Mild smoothness along my tongue, nothing cloying. Finish of tropical fruity sweetness, slight stickiness but nice.
Overall, this one I'd say is at the cusp of being great. A part of me wishes this was at that level, but somehow I believe in the boys of Trout River to refine this recipe. I would still come back to this.

A personal favorite. A fruity double IPA - what’s not to love about that? I’m male so I have a terrible sense of smell but I smell pine - or maybe pineapple. I didn’t pour into a glass so I’m not sure what it looks like - I envision an orange look. Very fruity but even so it’s still a masculine beer!
