I was lucky enough to get this one in a surprise package from a friend in my latest delivery from the Post Office. A good tasting German-type Lager that this brewery got right. I liked it a lot and would gladly drink more of them if made available. Two thumbs up.

Poured into a Nonic. Perhaps a bit dark for a Helles, but not offputting. Crystal clear with outstanding streaming bubbles. Decent head. Outstanding lacing. Pale malts meet some citrus on the nose with a touch of grassy hops. The pale and crackery delivery carries over to the palate, but some deeper malt notes arrive in mid-stream. Some solid grassy hop at the finish. A little skunky and mineral in the background. Medium light bodied, well carbonated, and very drinkable. It's ok.
