Brown color where bright light passes through the center of the glass. Lasting off white head with minor streaks for lace.
The aroma is similar to mocha with a surprising amount of coffee presence. I also pick up cocoa nibs.
The flavor and body are true to the Porter expectations. The beer leans rich but also has ample carbonation. The flavor is a bit bready with a touch of semisweet chocolate. I do not get any coffee taste. Smooth and deceptively easy to drink.
