Deep amber color and nearly clear. Moderate head but good webby lace.
A bit earthy to the nose with some darker, toasted bread.
Dry, almost like a rye, beer. The hop acts as a balance--definitely not extreme. Good body, low carbonation. Well disguised alcohol content -- not exactly an easy-to-drink lawnmower style beer, but a little too easy to drink at this abv (10%).
