Excellent, tight head from the nitro pour. It lasts throughout tasting. Decent spots on the glass. The liquid is deep dark brown where no light passes through the edge.
Typical chocolatey smell for a stout. Light burnt malt aroma.
While the predominant flavor is stout (dark chocolate and mocha), the soured elements come in on the back end. The body creates a smooth experience while the above average nitrogen bubbles give this beer an effervescence higher than the Irish versions.
