Pint on draft in a shaker at Coolidge Corner Clubhouse in Brookline.
Appearance: Cloudy, murky golden straw with a short white head that recedes quickly.
Aroma: Fruity! Lots of tropical fruits and citrus. Lots of hops. Some pine.
Taste: Leads with mango, followed by some tangerine and lemon. A little grapefruit. Possibly pineapple. Really flavorful and juicy. Juiciness is more pronounced than in the aroma. Very minimal booze, unsurprisingly.
Mouthfeel: Very drinkable. Has substance but isn’t heavy at all. Sessionable.
Overall: This is a winner. Tough to find an IPA this flavorful and complex at such a low ABV, too. (I love CCC, but this pour was possibly not perfect, and this beer wasn’t served ice cold; iron out those flaws and might have given this an even higher rating.)

Milky white cloudiness. Lemon colored liquid. Modest head which keeps the rim bubbles. Some streaks.
Rich, full aroma of fresh hop cones and pale malted barley. Smooth. A touch of tropical fruit.
This starts with a dry, relatively nondescript pale malt. Moderate body with an elevated carbonation level. The hop enhances the dryness and gives a bit of harshness. Moderate length aftertaste.
