Minor head that completely dies out leaving only a single short streak on the glass. Straw to gold color. Crystal clear.
A bit of dry cereal to the nose. Grainy. Low hop as expected.
Ample carbonation on a thinner lager body. Lots of malt flavor with very little of graininess that appeared in the smell. Light hop that acts more as a spice than create any bitterness. Shorter bready aftertaste.

This one pours a light-ish golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like bready and just lightly sweet malt, some toast, and a touch of citrus peel.
This is really solid, with just a light hint of hop character, and a really nice bready and toasty malt backbone. There’s a solid amount of flavor in a pretty small package here.
This is light bodied, crisp, clean, and very drinkable.
This was definitely one of the better entries in a recent all marzen/festbier share.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a bready malt aroma mixed with some sweet caramel and a whole lot of yeast and dough. Along with these smells comes a decent showing of pear and apple as well as some light earthy hop smells.
Taste – The taste starts out with a crisp cracker and bready malt flavor with a touch of yeast bread and some of the pear and caramel flavors that were discerned from the nose. As the taste advances more breadiness comes at a loss of some of the yeast and pear. The caramel gets stronger and is joined by a touch of toffee. A light level of grain and earth join in at the very end, leaving one with a crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is light and crisp with a moderate carbonation level. Overall for the style and abv the feel is great and makes for a nice easy sipper.
Overall – A rather pleasant Oktoberfest beer. Easy drinking, flavorful, and balanced.

This beer is being reviewed as a Festbier and a style change suggestion is pending.
A slow even pour released a finger of off-white soapy foam with short retention and spots of lacing. Clear golden straw color,
A balance of crackery/wheaty and bready/toasted malts greets the nose with mild herbal hops. A hint of potential sweetness is suppressed by toasted grain and wheat.
Semi-dry with average bitterness, wheat and toasted grain are now well ahead of the bready malt flavor. Pilsner like flavor profile although bigger and more hoppy. Bready malt and a hint of alcohol rise as it warms. The finish is fast and semi-clean, dry malt fades slowly while bitterness becomes lightly spicy and lingers briefly.
Medium light body with average carbonation. Well balanced, smooth and session-able. A little bit low on body and flavor,
the alcohol as well hidden and again I must mention the balance and drinkability. Canned on 08/10/21.

Enjoyed this delicious Marzen beer at the Dorchester Brewing facility during their Oktoberfest event. Very wonderful fest beer that had a nice amber color, lighter than other marzens I’ve seen. A white frothy head tantalized my tastebuds. The beer has a spiced scent and a malty toasty taste. It drank incredibly smooth and paired excellent with a pretzel and brat! Prost!
