Although described as a blonde, the added coffee makes this beer a dark amber. Hazy. Small head that nearly settles to no bubbles at all. No lace.
Strong coffee aroma. No other smells penetrate this.
While the coffee dominates, there is a sizable vanilla presence. The body and carbonation are average for a beer. I’m impressed that I can pull out some malt behind the coffee. The bitterness in the swallow comes from the coffee. Overall, the blend works.
