Thanks to D. White for providing this can.

Pale amber, effectively orange color. Pretty hop hazy. Pours a nice white head, creamy and long lasting.

Interesting hop aroma with hints of pine and orange pith. Smells like an old school IPA from Colorado to me for some reason.

Big hop flavor, piney and dank. Enough malt and caramel sweetness to balance things a bit. Has some bitterness in the finish, but very soft. Guessing hops are mostly late additions.

Medium body and medium carbonation. No astringency or significant alcohol warming.

A nice IPA - big and hoppy, but not overly sweet.

Passed through Brunswick after hiking with my eight year old son down in Sky Meadows State Park in Virginia on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in early April. Anyway, I picked up a growler of this.

Handsome copper color and almost no head. The flavor is balanced, and the citrus and juicy pine kind of sneak up on you in the aftertaste. Texture is thin and low in carbonation, but the combination works. Definitely a mellow, but flavorful IPA in the sessionable category.

Poured on tap at Smoketown Brewing Station.

Clear amber, with nice ring lacing off the glass, touches of chestnut bronze on the edges.

Very nice simple and balanced aroma. Caramel, citrus with a touch of malt dominance.

Palate is pretty simple if good ordinary. Clean hop bitterness a little grass more so than citrus on the palate. Good malt contrast in an amber like sweetness. A bit of fizz faintly which makes for a slightly touch of gas.

Drinkable and simple.

Had at the brewery. This IPA tastes fairly traditional American as it leans heavy on piney hops that leave quite a lingering bitter in the finish. Not quite my preference in an IPA but still ok for a new startup brewery. 3,68 initial rating in Aug 2016.

Jan 2019 - had from can. Appearance improved. Aroma improved. Taste slightly improved but my description notes from 2016 still hold true.

Sample at Industry Night at HomeBrewCon.
Slightly hazy light golden color with a tightly bubbled white head that persists.
Citrus pine light bready caramel not bad.
