Murky orange color with white head. Aroma is fruity but also has some toasted malt. Taste is slightly sweet at first with nice orange notes and slightly bitter with some nutty malt on the finish. Medium body with soft mouthfeel. Quite nice one.

I had this a week ago, so I'm going to describe this on memory. The beer was reasonably fresh, not yet two months old.
It's on the darker side for the style, it might be right on the border in terms of BJCP style guidelines.
I really couldn't get over how unappealing I found the taste. It tastes so dirty and metallic. I'm expecting to be getting a lemon/orange/citra blast, but instead I have a mouthful of earth. In hindsight, I shouldn't be so surprised: the water here in Poland is very hard, and the hops listed were Zeus, Chinook, Mosaic, Citra and I assume that's in order of most prevalent to least prevalent. It comes across as very earthy, dirty primarily, and mildly citrus-y second.
If you're going for a citrus ale, why use a darker malt bill? When I think citrus IPA, I think spritzy, refreshing, vibrant. This beer has earned a solid rating on untappd (~3.9) but I really can't fathom why.

Poured into pint. 13% Plato.
Pours hazy amber/copper beer, 2-finger off white head, moderate retention.
Smell - typical APA - lemony, special malts.
Taste - sweet malts, lemon, not very strong bitterness.
Medium body, soft carbonation. Very lemony beer, indeed.
