Copenhagen 2/5 2020. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Drawing of a Bear and a Moose showing their muscles and ready for Fight night.
Pours murky, dirty yellow with a small white head. Settles as fine, thin layer of foam just managing to vover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense. Sweet exotic fruit like mango and peach. Light odor of milkshake and marmalade. Citric notes with grape fruit and lemon. Acerbic. Light alcoholic presence.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a lighter citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a lighter bitter undercurrent. Finish is semi-dry with a harsh twist of alcohol.
Quite sweet for a DIPA - almost over in the Milk Shake variety. And not too boozy.
