Ragnar Imperial Baltic Porter... Rum Barrel Aged
L: Inky black pour with scant brown head.
S: Roasted sugars, burned grains, dark fruit, and rum.
T.F: Rich... roasty and sweet up front. Burned sugars and roasted malts. Dark chocolate, French roast, and baked plum. Rum comes through with a bit of vanilla and nicely compliments the beer. Creamy on the tongue... low carbonation. Warming... and becomes more complex as it comes up to room temp.
O: Absolutely fantastic, and drinks more like an Imperial Stout than a Porter. Delicious beer... and Tzech Kumpli was my favorite brewery that we got to sample in Poland. Glad I snagged this bottle to bring home.
