Poured from a 0.33L bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: A deep rich black pour... as dark as your ex's shriveled heart. Barely there brown head... faint rim of lacing.
S: Roasted grains... coffee, dark chocolate, and bourbon.
T.F: Rich and roasty. Bitter espresso and dark chocolate. Lighter vanilla and oak. Bourbon/booze and char. Medium to thick bodied and creamy on the tongue. More complex as it warms.
O: A solid BBA Baltic Porter. Could have used a bit more sweetness to start (a rare thing to say about a Polish Baltic Porter) for balance, but well crafted. I think I liked its cousin 'Björn' a bit more but this was good stuff and a nice Christmas treat.
