Copenhagen 10/8 2019. 50 cl from Monopolowy in Międzywodzie. Very brown label reminding me of the Seventies. Pretty cool logo from Trzech Kumpli looking modern in a very old-fashionend way.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as very thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense, rich, coffee bitter with a more subdued sweetness. Dark chocolate, cream, coffee, dark fermented fruit, light roast, brown sugar.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, creamy, soft texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet followed by medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undercurrent. Notable presence of alcohol.
Sweet but not without balance, boozy but with a lot of taste. As a Baltic Porter should be.
