Originally brewed in collaboration with our friends at Victory Brands in Atlanta, this beer is meant to be a sessionable drinker. Its light, crisp profile makes it the perfect complement to hot summer days, or practically any day. It’s just beer… "whatever man." Malts: Pilsner, Two Row and flaked corn. Hops: Magnum, Hersbrucker and Callista hops.

The rating of 5 for the look is as much for the can label design as for the beer itself, which is a standard piss-yellow. Noticeably better than any U.S. or Canada adjunct lager even though it's in the same style category. Its name claims to be Light but it doesn't taste light to me and that's commendable.

Appearance: Clear straw yellow with a VERY slight haze. Great head retention.
Aroma: Light lime, floral and spicy/herbal hop notes. Bread flour, cracker like malt.
Flavor: Medium sweet. Mildly spicy with floral notes. Restrained bitterness, but plenty for balance.
Palate: Light to medium bodied, semi-dry. Moderate carbonation Short , clean and crisp finish.
Rated this beer vs other American Light Lagers. One of the best Light Lager's I've very had. Arches pulls off an impressive amount of hops aroma and flavor for a light beer. And does so with a medium body (preventing that familiar thinness of most light beers) and restrained bitterness. Visually, it is just as impressive. Clear, bright gold pouring to a nice frothy white head with good retention. It's drying plus clean and crisp at the end. The brewers made an excellent choice of hops: Magnum, Hersbrucker and Callista; which made all the difference in the world. An impressive light beer that is head and shoulders above its bigger competitors.

Appearance: Pours a yellow-hued body, nearly clear with a scant, abrupt, white head that crackles out in seconds.
Smell: Light whiff of barley, a hint of cereal sweetness, with minor touches of grain, spice-minded hops.
Taste: Light, lightly bready barley with a glaze of sweetness and hint of clean corn. Modestly grainy on the palate. Faint, subtly spicy hops with a low albeit balancing bitterness. Still offers up just a bit of remaining sweetness on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation with a bit of sizzle behind it.
Overall: Quick, easy drinking.
