Poured from a can dated 10/22 into a Teku glass with two fingers worth of fluffy white head that dissipates slowly, with lacing that forms along the edges. Faint aromas of crackery malt with a touch of honey and light phenols. Flavor profile is less crisp and a tad sweeter than a classic Pilsner, but there’s a nice peppery and sage undertone that makes this beer a willing companion with food. Overall it’s pretty good, even if it’s not at quite the same level as other brews from Arches.

...As a follow up after several more of these brews in the six pack purchased, I have come to especially love this beer paired with food and have rerated the beer higher overall as it’s also the sort of brew that grows on a person over time.
