A quality pale ale with a traditional taste. The look of this beer stood out in that it was a deep amber and also hazy (not as light as most out now). It smells a little citrusy and dank, but mostly piney, and it tastes mostly the same. It's both juicy and piney, with hops popping in at the end and leaving a dry finish, while the bitter doesn't linger long. In a world of citrus and tropical beers, it's refreshing to find a quality beer with its flavor focus elsewhere.

From a can.
Clear deep amber body with a decent white head.
Mild, malt dominated aroma.
More hop forward flavor but still about even worth the grains. Malty for style.
Medium body with medium carbonation.
