On cask at the Belfast Beer Festival, 2017.
Hazy amber. 4
Honey and orange rind. 3.75
Thread of toffee, banging tropical juice (papaya and a load of pineapple) but then some paper. 3.75
Lt+, lean, some oil. 3.75
Rumour seems to be this is a bad/shaken cask, compared to the last one. A ton of juice, but some oxidation + astringency, too. Doesn’t seem like the Best of Fest. Revisit? 3.5
2nd tasting, CAN: pale amber, parmesan nose, sour malts with vague orange, a bit thin.
Nope, this is just a bad beer. Wilts next to a proper UK pale ale like Verdant Headband, yet this somehow calls itself an IPA. Not even a good hoppy beer just in Northern Ireland, and that's saying something. Rating unchanged.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
