Brewed in collaboration with the legends at Cloudwater, Dancing on Narrow Ground is named after the lost YouTube documentary of the same name—a raw, unscreened BBC film capturing mid-90s Northern Ireland through the lens of rave culture. At a time when the country was still divided, dance floors offered something rare: unity, escape, and shared euphoria.
Like the scene it celebrates, this beer is vibrant, expressive, and unfiltered. The label channels the DIY spirit of a vintage rave poster—bold, defiant, and buzzing with energy.
It’s also a quiet protest. “Narrow ground” doesn’t just reflect the past—it speaks to Northern Ireland’s outdated licensing laws, which still restrict culture, nightlife, and independent venues. At Bullhouse, we advocate for change, championing a more open, progressive beer and nightlife scene.
Flavour-wise, this is a throwback to the early days of craft, blending a kettle charge of old-school Columbus hops with a dry hop of modern Citra Cryo and Chinook Hyperboost. Oats and wheat in the mash give it a smooth, full-bodied mouthfeel that beautifully balances the bold bitterness of this hazy Session IPA.

440ml can. A beautifully hoppy session IPA from Bullhouse and Cloudwater. Hazy and citrusy and easy-drinking, with a nicely dry bite. Could drink many of these but unfortunately I have just the one can. Excellent for just 4% ABV.
