Had on tap. This is an ipa that happens to have rye in it, not the other way around, but rye beer is what the brewer lists it as. Bright amber red clear body with surface islands. Earthy hops blend with lighter rye and amber malts, nothing crazy exciting or bad. Taste hits the rye well however, bringing out the citrus and melon notes to the earthy and grassy hops, all with an amber malt backbone. Feel is lighter and hoppier more than anything, felt like the earthy rye and amber malt notes should be stronger here to tie it all together
