DATE: August 3, 2018... OCCASION: following up the Booty Catcher with something lighter and more easy going... GLASSWARE: Stoudt's pint... a murky sallow orange-yellow body pours fresh from the growler... pencil-thin head, off-white and swiftly diminishing... orange peel, milkshake, toasted malts, and some odd citric extras maintain the expected profile... creamy, medium-bodied, with a light finish--some effervescence shakes the teeth, but otherwise, a soft, apologetic presence... toasted malts are heavy, with an oat abrasiveness that throws the orange and cream askew--not feeling this, and a shame that it is in need of balance, if not a tempered back end... drinkable, but not one I'd reach for again soon...
