Unexpected offering afound after a day at Cranmore in the middle of a Nor'Easter...
Dark amber with an off white head that falls quickly leaving a ring of medium bubbles.-No haze.
Malt and fresh bread in the nose, with hints of chocolate and toffee. Very inviting.
Medium mouthfeel, not thick or syrupy.
Malt and dry cocoa right down the middle.
Lucious nectar of malt.
Perfectly balanced bitterness, nice, clean Munich profile.
Not too sweet as found in some D bocks.
Not a huge example of the style in ABV,but it makes up for it in drinkablilty. Alcohol barely noticeable till you walk out the door into a facefull of blizzard.
Very reminescent of Chocolate Bock.
