Can: Poured a slightly hazy dirty yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of strong ester with perfume elie notes and residual sugar notes. Taste is also dominated by strong ester with some perfume notes and overly present residual sugar notes. Body si full with good carbonation and some apparent alcohol notes. This one's a bit messy and lacks some attenuation.

Canned 2021/03/31
Pours a med frothy fizzy 1/2 finger head with moderate retention, fair whispy lacing, very hazy med golden blond color
Nose is very nice, sweet malt up front, Belgian blonde sweet candy like malt, with a bit of light candi sugar, into vanilla icing and orange cake, mild phenol spices, slight peppery potpourri spices, fair fruity esters, citrus mostly, orange, a little pome fruit and hint apricot, perfumey alcohol with some vanilla spice, honey cake, dried fruits, lots of honeysuckle as it warms
Taste has more of the same, fair sweet malts, Belgian blonde malts, with some honey cake, vanilla icing again, a little Belgian candi sugar and some cake batter, into more fruity esters, lots of citrus, dried candied apricot and pear, a little marmalade, vanilla spice, mild peppery and spicy phenols, a bit of bitterness, light potpourri perfumey alcohol, fair dry finish
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, med to higher slight effervescent carb, touch of warming alcohol
Overall quite nice, really hits the spot for a Belgian tripel

Can. Beautiful clear golden orange with lasting dense ring and island. Boozy vanilla peppery spice aroma. Sweet vanilla honey malts with medium apricot fruity yeast and just a tiny pleasant hint of bubblegum and peppery herbal boozy finish. Medium-full body with just enough carbo to bite at the sweetness. A great American tripel. There are so many fucked up American tripels -- too boozy, too sweet, hints of caramel, carbo to low, boozy cardboardy finish, no head or texture -- that I almost didn't buy this. But it's one of my favorite styles. Bra-fucking-vo.
