Pours a very dark, murky amber with one and a half fingers of bubbly tan head that fades quickly to a sticky ring and a thin floating cap. Scant lacing.
Smell is mostly bubblegum, with some wheat, honey, and a hint of clove and banana.
Taste hits with some tangy wheat right off the bat, before a honey sweetness and some big bubblegum flavors. Finishes with some faint banana, some spicy clove and white pepper, and a little more of that tangy wheat. Pretty tasty stuff.
Medium-bodied, crisp mouthfeel with a good amount of carbonation. Very smooth though.
Very drinkable given the ABV. Nice to see another new beer on tap at the Moat.
