Pours a dark brown color with a thin layer of tan head. The bourbon notes are dominant in the nose. Bourbon also figures prominently in the flavor profile. Unfortunately, I was waiting for a healthy roast to compliment and accompany the bourbon and it never manifested itself.

From a 16 oz. can. Sampled Jan 7, 2023.
The pour is dark brown to about jet black with a boisterous tan head. Lacing.
The aroma expresses dark roast malts, dark bread, cream (not vanilla), earth, and light spice. The booze seems lower profile in the aroma.
Medium or better mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet for sure, dark and roasty, maybe creamy, but little to no alcohol burn. Easy for me to drink.

Can from the Packie.
Inky black in color with a thin but long lasting frothy tan head. Big chocolate with light roast and a hint of spicy rye and oak tannin. A little sweet and sticky, but really tasty.
