Poured from a can (dated 2/27/25) into a chalice
Appearance – The beer pours a murky and hazy golden-orange color with a small head of dense white foam. The head has an excellent level of retention, very slowly fading over time and leaving tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is intense of a yeasty and biscuit malt smell mixed with tons of apricot and peach. Along with these aromas comes a good deal of a coriander and clove and a moderately strong showing of white pepper and some hay. Other aromas of a musty and oaky smell are mixed in there as well, along with a hint of bubblegum, brandy, and candied sugar.
Taste – The taste begins with a with a biscuit malt and light fruit flavor of apricot, pear, and peach, all mixed with notes of yeast and some wheat and lightly toasted bread. The spice of coriander and clove are strong from the start, joined by notes of oak and some brandy at the start. As the taste advances, the fruit fades a tad, but is replaced by some light bubblegum and caramel tastes, along with notes of hay and white pepper. At the same time the Brandy booze taste and oak get a bit more intense, all while some graininess and some must work their way in. At the end the coriander and clove get more intense at the expense of some of the malt, leaving one with a warming and slightly drier triple taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly thicker and more chewier then would be expected for the triple style, while the carbonation level is more moderate overall.
Overall – A lightly more malty, but overall drier in sweetness triple with a nice blend of booziness, oak, and spice. Quite a nice barrel aged brew, and if I can get my hands on it again, I certainly will.

From a 16 oz. can dated 5/22 and sampled Oct 12, 2022.
Golden appearance underneath a modest cream colored head. Decent clarity.
Loads of aroma including clove, coriander, toasted brown bread, pear, apple, Belgian yeast, wood, but only a mild sensation.
Medium to full mouthfeel.
Ah ha! Here is the booze in the flavor! Along with the clove, coriander, allspice, toasted bread crust. meaty fruits, wood, and a rosemary bite. Warming. Relaxing. Enjoyable.
