Our version of a classic Irish Red Ale. Red to brown in color, unfiltered for a full-mouth feel, firmly bittered with hops making it a wonderful full bodied spring seasonal.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a brick red color with a tiny head of fizzy off white foam. The head fades very fast leaving a trace of fizzy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of caramel and bread. Along with these smells comes some light toffee and a bit of earth.
Taste – The taste begins with the toffee, bread and caramel that were in the smell. As the taste advances the sweetness grows slightly more intense and is joined by a little bit of roastiness. All the while a hint of herbal and earthy hops come to the tongue and leave one with a rather lightly toasted red ale flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the average to slightly more chewy side for a irish red with a carbonation level that was a little on the lower side.
Overall – An alright irish red overall, but nothing too special. Worth a try at least if you get the chance.

From the 16 oz. can. Sampled on March 28, 2015.
The pour is a slightly cloudy amber red with a foamy off-white head that laces.
The aroma has a grand toasty malted bread character with a touch of toffee sweetness.
The body is medium and slick.
The taste has the same toasted maltiness but then the bitter bite kicks in and lingers at the very finish.
